Celine and Hark’s summer wedding at Elora Mill Hotel & Spa was the perfect example of how impactful thoughtful design can be when it complements an already stunning space. The Grand Room at The Elora Mill offers so much warmth, texture, and character to build on, proving that you truly do not need to overfill the room with excessive decor when the venue itself is already layered with beautiful architectural details. Instead, every design element was intentionally chosen to enhance the space rather than compete with it. Soft neutral florals, warm candlelight, delicate linens, and refined tabletop details created a timeless, romantic atmosphere that felt effortless and elevated.
One of the true showstopping elements of the design was the incredible greenery installation framing the fireplace, a signature Elora Mill look by Hilary of Wildwood Floral & Event Design. The organic greenery climbing the fireplace wall added so much movement, texture, and drama to the room while still feeling cohesive with the rest of the design. Paired with the glow of candlelight and lush white and blush florals, the entire reception felt warm, intimate, and beautifully layered from every angle.
