My Favourite Wedding Venues in Cambridge, KW & Area

If you’re newly engaged and dreaming of a wedding in Southern Ontario, you’re in luck — our region is full of stunning venues that blend historic charm, modern elegance, and unforgettable culinary experiences. As a wedding planner who specializes in intimate, guest-focused celebrations, I’ve had the pleasure of working at some truly incredible venues throughout Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're envisioning a romantic garden ceremony, a modern industrial dinner party, or a timeless estate wedding, there’s a venue here that will most definitely feel like you. Here are some of my absolute favourite wedding venues in Cambridge, KW, Guelph and the surrounding areas.

Whistle Bear Golf Club

Whistle Bear is a classic for a reason. Its bright, airy spaces feel fresh and inviting year-round and the indoor/outdoor vibe of The Garden Chapel provides the perfect place to say “I do”. The venue balances elegance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for couples who want a timeless, yet approachable, wedding day. And the bonus? The surrounding grounds are beautiful for photos, and the service is always impeccable.

Elora Mill

Elora Mill is pure romance. Overlooking the Grand River and Elora Gorge, this historic mill has been thoughtfully restored into a luxurious venue that feels equal parts rustic and refined. Guests can enjoy a ceremony with a view, cocktails on the terrace, and an elevated dinner in either of the reception rooms. The indoor ceremony space at the recently renovated Foundry Building will take your breath away every time and provides coverage and comfort in all sorts of weather. If you're dreaming of a weekend wedding getaway, the on-site spa and accommodations are a huge bonus as well.

Cambridge Mill

If you love the idea of a wedding surrounded by heritage charm and river views, Cambridge Mill is a must-see. The glass-walled ceremony pavillion overlooking the Grand River is one of the most breathtaking spots in the region, no matter the season. Paired with their culinary focus and elegant reception spaces, it’s ideal for couples who want a sophisticated yet cozy celebration. With lots of local accommodation options and beautiful photo opportunities, this is venue is sure to please!

Tapestry Hall

Tapestry Hall in Cambridge offers a bold, industrial vibe that feels modern and striking. The towering ceilings, exposed brick, and steel beams set the stage for a dramatic, design-forward wedding. This venue is perfect if you love a blank canvas that allows for creative florals, statement lighting, and unexpected decor. It’s also a fantastic choice for larger guest counts without sacrificing style. Located in The Gaslight District, along with The French, The Foundry Tavern, and The Underwing, you’ll be sure to find a space that’s also perfect for your rehearsal dinner or after party. Need accommodations? The Laundry Rooms provide a cool, condo- like place to stay just steps away so planning feeling easy and breezy.

The food and service are consistently top-notch, and the atmosphere is serene and intimate. Langdon Hall is a dream for refined, intimate weddings where every detail feels intentional.
